Muyao Zhou is a Master of Landscape Architecture II student at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, expected to graduate in 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Ohio State University. With a background spanning both the United States and China, he brings a cross-cultural perspective to his design approach. His studies emphasize climate-adaptive design,
outdoor comfort design, and social equity in landscape design, equipping him with a multidisciplinary understanding of landscape architecture.
Through his internships at leading landscape firms, Muyao has participated in diverse design practices, including art museums, luxury hotels, high-end commercial developments, residential landscapes, and competition proposals. His experience spans conceptual design, site analysis, and digital modeling, with a strong ability to translate ideas into compelling visual and spatial narratives.
